Remix in Practice
The remix applies fandom's core logic to fandom itself: if canon can be retold, so can fic. In a classic remix exchange, participants are assigned another author and reinterpret one of their stories — the same events from the other lover's eyes, the tragedy replayed as comedy, the drabble expanded into a saga — with the original always credited and linked.
